Let Him Be the Author

Sometimes... I think I have it all figured out. That I know what is best. But then God gently reminds me that I don't really know what I am doing, and He can see the big picture.
This journal sketch was my way of showing my tendency to try and write my own story. I like to be in control! But I eventually realize I don't really want to be in control, I really want God to be the Author of my story, because He knows best!

But now, O Lord, you are our Father; we are the clay, and you are our potter; we are all the work of your hand.
